Our commitment
At Darwin High School we are committed to providing a positive, safe, caring and supportive learning environment. We foster a positive school culture where harassment is not tolerated and:
- everyone has the right to respect from others, the right to learn or to teach, and the right to feel safe and secure in their school environment.
- everyone has a responsibility to keep the learning environment safe for all and to show respect for others.
A positive message
In 2016, the entire student body (over 1200 students) gathered on the oval to form the words Cyber Bullying No Way! Our students sent a strong united message to the community in support of proactive participation in the elimination of bullying and violence.
Student's also ran a competition for the design of materials that promote the anti-bullying message. The winning video and poster entries are featured on this page and around the school.
DHS2 Team - Dawyte Clancy, Rachel May Hawkins, Despina Nelson and Gerry Zografakis produced the winning video entry titled Snap to the Future (see below).
