Bullying No Way!

We are committed to promoting the anti-harassment message in our school and to the ongoing education of students, staff and parents about the procedures for reporting and dealing with harassment.

Our commitment

At Darwin High School we are committed to providing a positive, safe, caring and supportive learning environment. We foster a positive school culture where harassment is not tolerated and:

  • everyone has the right to respect from others, the right to learn or to teach, and the right to feel safe and secure in their school environment.
  • everyone has a responsibility to keep the learning environment safe for all and to show respect for others.

Our commitment

A positive message

In 2016, the entire student body (over 1200 students) gathered on the oval to form the words Cyber Bullying No Way! Our students sent a strong united message to the community in support of proactive participation in the elimination of bullying and violence.

Student's also ran a competition for the design of materials that promote the anti-bullying message. The winning video and poster entries are featured on this page and around the school.

DHS2 Team - Dawyte Clancy, Rachel May Hawkins, Despina Nelson and Gerry Zografakis produced the winning video entry titled Snap to the Future (see below).
