C4E & SOHP registration

Interested in the C4E or SOHP program?

Entry into C4E (Science and Mathematics) and SOHP (English) is selective. This means students in Year 9 apply for a limited number of places and undertake a placement test.

Final selection into the C4E and SOHP programs is based on test results and past academic performance (evidenced through Year 9 Semester 1 school report). Complete the registration form and email a copy of the Year 9 Semester 1 report to [email protected] to apply.

The C4E: Mathematics entry test is free and will take place at Darwin High School on Wednesday 11 September from 3pm - 4.30pm.

There is no cost associated with the SOHP entry test on Friday 13 September from 3pm - 4.15pm at Darwin High School.

The C4E: Science entry test is $20 and will take place at Darwin High School on Wednesday 18 September from 3pm - 4.30pm. Click here to pay the C4E test fee.

Students will be informed via email during the mid-semester break if they have been successful in gaining entry into the C4E program. If students are successful, they are guaranteed an enrolment place at Darwin High School and will need to have returned a completed enrolment form and any additional relevant paperwork. Email [email protected] for more information.

Please note the SOHP and C4E are separate programs and students wanting to be considered for C4E and SOHP will need to register for testing for both programs using the tick boxes indicated in the form.

Darwin High School invites all prospective families to the 2024 Subject Expo and Open Evening on Thursday 5 September from 4.30pm – 7.30pm. The Subject Expo will showcase our course offerings for all Year Levels for 2025 and include orientation sessions and a campus tour for students wishing to enrol next year.
