Charles Darwin University will be hosting its annual Year 10 Discovery Day on Friday 10 June, from 8.30am - 2pm, at Casuarina Campus.
This is an excellent opportunity for Year 10 students to see the facilities first-hand and to ask CDU staff questions. Areas to visit will include Health (Medicine, Nursing), Environment, Law, Engineering, Business, Education, a tour of Trades and more. There will be an opportunity to experience interactive, hands-on activities related to specific courses. The VET pathway for each area will be explained, as well as the Higher Education pathway.
An excursion form is available on the Skoolbag app. Forms can also be collected from the Careers Office . Students are expected to make their own way to and from CDU. However, students will be supervised at the Discovery Day by DHS staff.
All students must wear enclosed shoes and bring a packed lunch, water bottle and hat. Students can buy food at the university cafés if they wish.
