Darwin High School is hosting our first annual Health and Lifestyle Expo on Monday 30 May 2016. The aim is for the Expo to provide students with knowledge of local health services in the community and to raise awareness of issues that impact on young people, such as mental health, drugs and alcohol and overall student wellbeing.
Students will have the opportunity to speak with organisations in a supportive and encouraging environment. Students will then know which organisations are available and will be more likely to access their support in future should they require assistance.
The organisations we are partnering with for the expo include: Menzies School of Health, Boost Juice, CDU, YMCA, Headspace, NT Legal Aid, the NT Police, Somerville, the Centre for Sexual Health and Disease Control, Casuarina Community Care, Daisy House, Surf Lifesaving, Amity, Anglicare and others.
