2017 World Challenge Namibia & Botswana Trip

At the end of the term last year Twenty Darwin High students and three teachers departed Darwin for their 2017 World Challenge adventure to Botswana and Namibia.

On Friday 24 November, fifteen Darwin High School students and three teachers departed Darwin for the 2017 Japan, Korea and China Trip. The students had the adventure of a lifetime experiencing the culture and languages of each country.
On Monday 20 November fourteen Darwin High School students received recognition at The NT Youth Business Award at Parliament House Darwin for their efforts and achievements in business and enterprise. Darwin High School was awarded the Overall Winner for 2017 for Consistently High Performing Entries.

Darwin High School will again send a Basketball team to the International High School Basketball Championships in Malaysia next month to defend their title as Championship winners from the 2016 competition.

The Bullocky Point combined Darwin Middle and Darwin High School Tournament of Minds (ToM) team have returned from the Australian Pacific Finals held in Adelaide last weekend.
