Peace in the Pacific Tour

​Darwin High School teacher Yashodara McCormack has been selected to travel to Hawaii for a six-day tour as part of the Chief Ministers' Peace in the Pacific Tour.

Students complete Sailing Course

T​his term, two Darwin High School Stage 1 Integrated Learning PE Classes participated in a five week sailing unit where students are assessed on their practical skills as well as documenting their own personal venture.

Stage 1 Geography Excursion

​On Wednesday 29 August, the Stage 1 Geography class went on an excursion to the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT) to examine the Cyclone Tracy exhibition. The class is currently studying a unit on natural hazards, with a focus on cyclones in the Northern Territory and other parts of Australia.

Mangrove Field Study

​Year 11 Biology classes have just spent lessons in the Mangroves between Darwin High School and Mindil Beach gathering data for a Field Study summative assessment task.
