SIEU Work Ready Excursion
On Wednesday 21 March, twelve Darwin High School Senior Intensive English Unit (SIEU) students visited the Parmalat factory Stuart Park as part of the Work Ready Skills program.

Five Darwin High School students are preparing to depart for Villers-Bretonneux for the 2018 Chief Minister’s Anzac Spirit Study Tour. On Friday 6 April, the students were presented with their uniforms at a special ceremony at Parliament House.
This term Darwin High School Stage 1 Legal Studies students are participating in the Step Up, Be Heard program with Parliamentary Education Services. This is a hands-on, interactive experience in the learning of parliamentary processes and how laws are made.
Darwin High School students Samuel Roussos and Mayatili Picton have been selected along with around 120 other Year 11 and 12 students from across Australia to travel to Canberra later this term.
On Friday 16 February, Twenty-four Darwin High School students went on an excursion to give them an understanding of the role of the Legal Aid Commission and show them the workings of the Local Court.
At the end of the term last year Twenty Darwin High students and three teachers departed Darwin for their 2017 World Challenge adventure to Botswana and Namibia.
On Friday 24 November, fifteen Darwin High School students and three teachers departed Darwin for the 2017 Japan, Korea and China Trip. The students had the adventure of a lifetime experiencing the culture and languages of each country.
On Saturday 25 November twenty Darwin High School students and three teachers departed Darwin for their World Challenge adventure to Botswana and Namibia.
Four Darwin High School students have continued the school’s longstanding tradition of participating in the annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the Darwin Cenotaph on Saturday 11 November.
Darwin High School Year 10 student Faiza Choudhury has been selected to participate in the 2018 Chief Minister's Anzac Spirit Study Tour.
