In the last few weeks of the school term ​Darwin High School Year 10 Food for Life students undertook an assessed group activity which required them to plan and prepare meals utilizing rescued food for Foodbank.

On Saturday 25 November twenty Darwin High School students and three teachers departed Darwin for their World Challenge adventure to Botswana and Namibia.

​On Wednesday 1 November the Port Adelaide Australian Football League (AFL) Club came to Darwin High School to deliver their Power To Be Positive Program. The program provides young people the skills and knowledge necessary to demonstrate resilience when they are confronted with challenging situations.

At Darwin High School we have over 30 years' experience in providing international student education. In 2017 the school has welcomed fourty international and seven exchange students.
