​Next week our Stage 2 Dance class will perform Odyssey over three nights in the Tank.

​On Tuesday 3 September SIEU held a special assembly to celebrate the achievements of some of their graduating Year 12 students who started their DHS education in the Secondary Intensive English Unit.

O​n Saturday 17 August, students from Darwin High School attended the Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony at the Indonesian Consulate in Darwin.

​On 1 August 2019, fifty-four students from Darwin High School sat the Australian Mathematics Competition.

​On Friday 23 August, Darwin High, hosted its annual Seniors’ Morning of Entertainment event. Proudly in its eleventh year, many of the guests declared it the highlight of the Seniors’ Month Calendar.

​In Week 5 of Term 3, the Stage 2 Outdoor Education students undertook their Self Reliant Journey. Twenty-four Darwin High students and four teachers trekked the Barramundi Creek loop to Maguk.

​Following on from the success of Darwin High School at the International Invitational Basketball Tournaments held in Malaysia over the past three years, Darwin High School has been invited to participate in the Men’s Basketball World Championships tournament in China.

Students, families and staff of Northern Territory schools are invited to participate in the 2019 School Survey.

T​he Darwin High School band has had a busy schedule this term, performing at a whole school assembly, the Persona Indonesia celebrations and next week at our Seniors’ Morning of Entertainment.

The 2019 Darwin High School Ski Trip was a great success and proved that while nothing beats a Darwin dry season, there is nothing like a trip to the snow!
