Inspiring Futures….and cupcakes!
Our new Strategic Plan 2020-2023 was launched last week to our Board and this week during our online General Staff meeting to our staff – and what launch is complete without cupcakes! The Plan has been developed over the past year using input from staff, students, the School Survey, Executive and Leadership teams and the School Review. The Strategic Plan is the Board’s collective vision for your school and it will drive our strategic planning and decision making over the next four years.
The Plan will continue to prioritise NTCET completion as well as focusing on three key areas: excellence in teaching and learning; future learning and wellbeing.
A key focus for us will be the wellbeing of both our students and staff, which will include reviewing the current SEL Program to look at how we can develop a whole of school approach to SEL. We also want to make sure our staff and students have the best ICT to support contemporary learning so we will be developing an ICT Strategy.
We are so lucky to have been able to develop this Strategic Plan on the foundation of our strong, inclusive, diverse and engaged school community and your values of achievement, integrity, respect, cooperation and responsibility, and we look forward to continue inspiring futures.
Our students got to hear all about the Plan in an the online assembly shared in their SEL class this week.
