Information on the External Assessment – Individual Digital Solution
Students complete an individually negotiated project over the course of 9 weeks where they design, develop and evaluate a digital solution or prototype. The project, associated documentation and a 3 minute designer’s statement are sent to the SACE Board for assessment at the conclusion of the course.
The Digital Technologies Subject Outline includes performance standards, which describe five levels of achievement that are reported with the grades A to E at the student’s completion of the subject.
The school-based assessments and the external assessment will be graded with reference to the performance standards.
