About the course

The Year 10 Cross-Disciplinary Studies Pre-General course incorporates the following two disciplines:

  • The Year 10 Australian Curriculum for Mathematics
  • Architecture

Disciplinary knowledge and skills are primarily drawn from the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics at a Year 10 level while the learning interest forms the primary focus for the group project.

Assessment Semester 1

  • Linear Equations and Inequalities
  • Quadratics
  • Group Project – Measurement & Architecture
  • Networks and Measurement

Assessment Semester 2

  • Indices and Exponents Test
  • Statistics and Probability Test
  • Group Project Trigonometry-Physics
  • Semester Exam (all topics)
