BYOD

Darwin High School's Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program gives freedom to students and their families to tailor their choice of technology to their own educational needs.

Bringing technology into the classroom

At Darwin High students are encouraged to bring a suitable portable device (laptop or tablet) to school.

The BYOD program is optional and the school maintains a level of service to allow students to access technology throughout the day. However, students who have participated in the BYOD program have expressed they felt they had a considerable advantage by having access to their own device both at school and at home.

Our IT Services Helpdesk will assist with network setup and installation of the below BYOD program software:

NTSCHOOLS GUEST WI-FI NETWORK

The NTSchools Guest wireless network is available for students to allow devices such as personal laptops, tablets and smartphones to connect to the internet within our school.

COMPASS EDUCATION

Darwin High School uses Compass as our student portal. Compass is available via the web and an App.

MICROSOFT OFFICE 365

ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD
