Parent Teacher Night


At Darwin High School there is shared responsibility between teachers, students and their parents and guardians for assessments. We are committed to assessment processes that are fair, valid and reliable for all students.

Semester 1 Parent Teacher Night

Monday 22 March from 3pm - 7pm is Parent Teacher Night at Darwin High School. We will be running this event face to face and have a COVID-safe plan in place. Bookings are essential and open in Compass from Tuesday 9 March.

Parent Teacher Night

Each Semester students and their families are invited to meet one on one with teachers to discuss student progress. The dates for Parent Teacher Night are advertised to the school community and bookings are made available via Compass.

A reminder Darwin High School is adopting a cautious approach for any large events.

Visitors are not be permitted to enter the school if: 

  • they are unwell;
  • they are awaiting the outcome of a test for COVID-19; 
  • they have been directed by relevant authorities to quarantine or self-isolate; or 
  • in the last 14 days, they have travelled to a place identified by the NT Chief Health Officer as a COVID-19 hotspot.

The Compass App

Students and their families are encouraged to download the Darwin High School Compass app to their smart phone/tablet device. Compass app allows you to stay up to date with announcements and events, complete a range of e-forms for student absences and excursions and easily contact us via phone or email direct from the app.
