International students


At Darwin High School we have over 30 years' experience in providing international student education. Our international students are supported to develop their English, make friends, experience Australian culture and achieve to their highest potential.

Our learning environment

Our international students learn in an environment that has high education standards, specialist facilities, and professional and supportive teachers. We welcome enrolments from international students and have an extensive curriculum on offer that includes:

  • a vibrant and renowned Arts program, including Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Arts
  • an extensive selection of Humanities courses
  • Languages, including Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Italian and Modern Greek
  • an outdoor education program with unique Australian experiences like bush walking, camping and visiting world heritage sites.

The Compass App

Students and their families are encouraged to download the Darwin High School Compass app to their smart phone/tablet device. Compass app allows you to stay up to date with announcements and events, complete a range of e-forms for student absences and excursions and easily contact us via phone or email direct from the app.
