Last Thursday love was in the air on campus, thanks to a joint fundraising initiative by our SRC, the Interact Club and the Stage 2 Catering Class.
Our Stage 2 Health students are doing Febfast throughout February and they have all chosen something to give up for the month.
Darwin High School staff and Board wish to congratulate all of our Year 12 students on their outstanding results in 2018. Many of these excellent results were recognised at the NT Board of Studies Awards on Friday 8 February at Parliament House.
The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services (NTPFES) Cadetship Program offers students the opportunity to obtain training in public safety and business.
Later this year the Darwin High School World Challenge team of nineteen students and three teachers, will head to Malawi and Zambia in Africa. The group will spend thirty days exploring the region and participating in a community project.
On Friday 23 November of last year, fourteen Darwin High School language students and two teachers departed Darwin for the 2018 Japan Trip.
Our Year 12 results were again outstanding. The equal top NT ATAR was Darwin High School student, Nafi Mazid with a score of 99.7. Congratulations Nafi on a phenomenal achievement. Six of the NT Top 20 were Darwin High School students.
Over the holiday break Darwin High School Year 12 student Lachlan Anderson attend the 2019 National Maths Summer School.
At the end of last term, on Monday 3 December, eighteen Darwin High School students and two teachers departed Darwin for the C4E Singapore and Malaysia Trip. This annual trip gives students the opportunity to enhance their applied knowledge and stretch their mathematical and scientific horizons beyond the classroom.
