In late November, three Darwin High School Year 10 students, Gabriella Francis, Tahlia Freijah and Vincent Mondol along with Mr Ergos and Ms McConnell travelled to Melbourne to attend the John Monash Science School and Monash University Australian Science Fair.

On 2 November 2022, the Minister for Education, the Hon. Eva Lawler MLA announced a new mobile phone policy for every government school in the Northern Territory.
