On Friday 25 August, Darwin High School held our annual Seniors’ Morning of Entertainment. This year the event was particularly special because the school is also celebrating its 60th anniversary and the event provided an opportunity to reconnect with former staff, students and families.
For National Science Week Photography students participated in Science Can Open People’s Eyes – Photomicrography competition created by INSPIRED NT.
In early August this year, ninety-six students from Darwin High School sat the Australian Mathematics Competition.
Earlier this Term students from around the Territory participated in the Languages Teachers' Association NT annual LanguageFest competition. Applications for the trip are now open for the 2024 Darwin High School World Challenge Trip to Borneo.

Darwin High School Visual Art Students have excelled this year at the Royal Darwin show, securing first place in all Senior Visual Arts categories and earning the prestigious recognition for the best senior exhibit.
On Wednesday 2 August four Year 11 Darwin High School students, Shah Zaib, Andreas D'Arrigo, Atif Saeed and Shazil Malik attended the Jingili Primary School for their annual Science Expo.
