In Week 9, as part of an exciting combination of language-focused activities, our Stage 1 Spanish students embarked on an exciting “Spanish Amazing Race”, combining language learning with a thrilling challenge! Five enthusiastic groups participated, racing across the school to various stops guided by Spanish clues. At each location, they completed a unique task, earning stamps on their race cards as they progressed through the course.
In Week 10, the SRC celebrated the festive season with a candy cane hunt. Laminated candy canes were hidden around the school for students to find and exchange for a real candy cane. The SRC would like to wish the DHS community a Merry Christmas and restful break.
