At the end of last term, thanks to the support of a Northern Territory Government International Education Innovation Grant, our Spanish students took a break from their regular lessons to embrace Latin American culture by learning the Bachata, led by our instructor Charlie.
We have a fabulous new display in the Front Office foyer featuring the works of Miss Jemima and Miss Polly's Stage 1 Visual Art Practical students.
Some important information for Year 12 students and families as we head towards the end of the year.
Last term Miss Jemima's Stage 1 Film class were visited by some local practicing Filmmakers. Alan Lawler director of the skate film Hivemind, encouraging our young film students to grab a camera and just start shooting.
Last term, two stage 1 Earth and Environmental Science classes went on an overnight camp to the Litchfield Environmental Centre as part of their course requirements. Upon arrival, students were straight into their first water quality testing activities.
During National Science Week, three of our Year 10 students travelled to Brisbane to compete in a science fair, along with John Monash High School, Australia Maths and Science School and the hosting school, Queensland Academy for Science, Maths and Technology.
