The SRC hit the ground running this year with their first event: Valentines Day. Always a very popular event for students, this year they were caught unawares with the stampede of students at their Orders Stall on Friday 7th February.
On Monday of Week 4 we held our second whole school assembly for the year. Hosted by members of our Student Representative Council, the assembly celebrated a number of student achievements and shared some of the exciting activities happening around campus.
Twenty-three students from across Australia have been awarded the 2025 Hansen Scholarship, the most generous and broad-based undergraduate scholarship offered at the University of Melbourne. Darwin High School Class of 2024 graduate Monishi Tripura was amongst the recipients and the only student selected from the NT.
Implementation of the DHS School Wide Instructional Model (SWIM) is continuing in 2025, with staff set to participate in structured professional development throughout Semester 1 and 2.
