Youth Week

​Northern Territory Youth Week (or NTYW) is an annual celebration of young people across the Territory and involved a range of activities last month. The NTYW 2019 Ambassador was Darwin High School’s own alumna Rochelle Cabry. Included in her calendar of events across the Territory was a visit to her old stomping ground, the DHS campus.

DHS Debate Champions

​Darwin High School fielded three teams in the Northern Territory Debate Competition this year. Each of the teams participated admirably and enjoyed the competition whilst developing their skills in public speaking and argument.

Arafura Games Update

​Darwin High School students are celebrating great success in the 2019 Arafura Games. The biennial event officially opened on 26 April and will conclude on Monday 4 May.

Darwin High honours the Anzac Legacy

​Darwin High School has a longstanding tradition of commemorating Anzac Day with a commemorative Assembly by its senior students. This year on Wednesday 24 April, all 1300 students and staff, gathered with invited guests to reflect on the Legacy of the Anzac.

National Day of Action - Bullying No Way Day

​Darwin High School has been raising awareness of the impact of bullying. Our SRC in conjunction with Stage 1 Health students organised an awareness campaign and a series of events to send a strong united message to the community in support of the elimination of bulling and violence.
