Seniors’ Morning of Entertainment 2025

As part of Territory Seniors’ Month, Darwin High School was proud to host our 16th annual Seniors’ Morning of Entertainment last Friday – a much-loved tradition on the school calendar and a valued contribution to our wider community.

Our performing arts and visual arts students once again delighted a full house, with all 250 tickets selling out in just 13 days. Guests were treated to a variety of outstanding performances and exhibitions that showcased the remarkable talents of our students.

Our Intensive English students also played an important role as event hosts, warmly welcoming guests, distributing programs and assisting with the endless cups of tea and coffee throughout the morning.

We were also pleased to welcome our local member, Laurie Zio, MLA, who joined us in celebrating the event and was equally impressed by the skill and kindness of our students.

The concert ended on a wonderful high, with our dance students inviting guests up to join them for an impromptu dance, accompanied by Year 12 student Gracia’s lively rendition of “I Just Wanna Dance with Somebody.” It was the perfect way to conclude a joyful and memorable morning.
