11VAVS1/11VAVS2Video Production caters for students interested in film, television, journalism, advertising, music video visual arts or business promotion.

About the subject
Video production has a specialised room housing 25 flat screen computers installed with industry standard video editing program; Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects for Visual Effects creation and Adobe Photoshop dedicated purely for digital video editing. Canon DSLR cameras, lenses, portable lighting, microphones, glidecams, professional tripods and accessories are also available for students.
Assessment
Assessment at Stage 1 is school based. Students demonstrate evidence of their learning through the following assessment types:
- Folio 40%
- Practical 30%
- Visual Study 30%
