Video Production caters for students interested in film, television, journalism, advertising, music video visual arts or business promotion.

About the subject

Video production has a specialised room housing 25 flat screen computers installed with industry standard video editing programs such as Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop dedicated purely for digital video editing. Cameras, lighting and professional tripods are also available.


Assessment at Stage 1 is school based. Students demonstrate evidence of their learning through the following assessment types:

  • Folio 40%
  • Practical 30%
  • Visual Study 30%
