Beautiful is an innovative new dance theatre work by master storyteller Joanna Noonan (SLIDE YOUTH DANCE) in collaboration with DHS alumni and WAAPA graduate Ruby Surtees and the 2024 DHS Stage 2 Creative Arts Dance students. The DHS original version of Beautiful (Stage 1 of a production that will continue to evolve throughout 2024 with SLIDE) will be a rollercoaster journey of characters exploring how our values and societal pressures influence the way we see ourselves and others. From funny to heartfelt moments this original and creative work will evoke questions within us and others as to how we see beauty and what is beautiful within each of us.
