Year 12 Formal will be taking place on Friday 13 November at the Darwin Convention Centre.
Celebrating the Class of 2026
Following the Graduation Ceremony, Year 12 students are invited to continue the celebrations with their classmates at the Year 12 Formal Dinner.

The Year 12 Formal is a Darwin High School student-only event.
Formal Tickets
Formal tickets are $140 and can be purchased from Friday 28 August 2026 via CompassTix or in person at Student Services.
Ticket price:
- $140 – from Friday 28 August
- $155 – from Saturday 31 October
Ticket sales close: Friday 6 November at 4.00pm.

Formal Attendance Eligibility
In accordance with the Darwin High School Attendance Policy, students must have maintained 90% attendance or higher to be eligible to attend the Year 12 Formal.
Eligibility was determined using attendance data at the end of Semester 1 to allow tickets to go on sale. Attendance will continue to be monitored throughout Semester 2.
Students who fall below 90% attendance after purchasing a ticket may have their ticket revoked and refunded.
Students who have not consistently demonstrated the Darwin High School Values may also have their ticket revoked and refunded.
Extenuating circumstances
Students with extenuating circumstances may submit an appeal by emailing Nick Ergos, Year 12 Assistant Principal, outlining their circumstances.
Appeals will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
