Celebrating the Class of 2026

We are delighted to invite our Year 12 students and their families to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2026.

This special occasion recognises the achievements of our graduating students as they complete their secondary education and marks an important milestone as they prepare for their next chapter.

The Graduation will be followed by the Year 12 Formal Dinner.

The ceremony will commence promptly at 5.30pm.

Who is eligible to attend?

All students who are on track to complete their NTCET in 2026 are eligible to attend the Graduation Ceremony and will be invited to register via a Compass Event.

This includes:

  • Students completing their Year 12 certificate in 2026.
  • Students completing Year 12 over two years, provided 2026 is their final year of NTCET study.
  • VET students completing their NTCET in 2026.
  • Year 11 students scheduled to complete their NTCET in 2026 who will not be returning to school in 2027.

Students completing their Year 12 studies over two years who are not completing their NTCET until 2027 will be invited to attend the Graduation Ceremony in their completion year, 2027.

Both the Year 12 Graduation and the Year 12 Formal are ticketed events. 

Graduation Tickets

The Graduation Ceremony is a complimentary event, with no cost for students or guests to attend.

Due to venue capacity and safety requirements, each graduating student may initially register for a maximum of three tickets, including the student.

Initial ticket allocation

  • 1 x Student – registration is not required. All graduating students must collect a wristband prior to the ceremony for entry.
  • Up to 2 x Guest tickets – registration is required.

Initial registration opens: Friday 28 August 2026
Initial registration closes: Friday 16 October 2026

During the initial registration period, students may only register their allocated three tickets.

Only graduating students are guaranteed a ticket. Guests who are not registered during the initial registration period risk missing out on a ticket.

Additional guest tickets

Requests open: Monday 19 October 2026
Requests close: Friday 13 November 2026 at 3.00pm

Following the close of initial ticket registration, any remaining seats will be released for additional guest bookings via CompassTix.

  • Students may request up to two additional guest tickets.
  • Additional tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
  • Additional tickets are not guaranteed and are subject to venue capacity.

To ensure the process is fair for all families, the school will regularly review registrations. Bookings that exceed the permitted allocation will be cancelled automatically.

We appreciate that guest limits may be difficult for some families and thank you for your understanding as we work to provide every graduating student with an equitable opportunity to celebrate this important milestone.

There will be no tickets available at the door.

A live stream of the ceremony will also be available for family and friends who are unable to attend in person.

Wristband Collection

All students and guests must present a wristband for entry into the auditorium.

Following ticket registration, wristbands can be collected from Student Services:

8.00am–3.30pm

Families are strongly encouraged to collect wristbands from the school beforehand to avoid delays and queues on the day.

For those unable to collect their wristbands before the ceremony, a check-in table will operate at the Darwin Convention Centre from 4.00pm on Friday 13 November.

Seating and Auditorium Access

Graduating students

Graduating students will be seated with their SEL group in allocated seating.

Students must enter the auditorium via the ground-floor doors.

Guests

Guests should enter via the first-floor doors and sit in the designated guest seating areas.

Guests requiring disability or mobility access may use the ground-floor entrance.

Year 12 Awards

Students receiving a Leadership Award or Academic Award will be notified via Compass approximately two weeks prior to the ceremony.

Award recipients and their families will receive information about ticket arrangements at that time.
