Integrated Learning - Coffee Shop

The Coffee Shop Integrated Learning program has a program focus to run a cafe for students and staff one day a week from Cafe Ah Toy in the Home Economics area.

About the subject

The capabilities addressed in this course are communication and work skills. Students learn to use an espresso machine, prepare and serve foods and beverages suitable for a cafe and learn to work as a team.

Assessment

The following assessment types enable students to demonstrate their learning in Stage 1 Integrated Learning: 

  • Practical - 30%
  • Group Activity - 50%
  • Folio and Discussion - 20%.
