The broad area of Design includes graphic and communication design, environmental design and product design.
It emphasises defining the problem, problem solving approaches, the generation of solutions and/or concepts and the skills to communicate resolutions.

Through the process, students communicate knowledge and understanding of their own work. Students are encouraged to identify the connection with other practitioners. Students draw on knowledge of various sources to find examples of designers’ work for inspiration and to communicate their appraisal of various pieces either written or oral forms.
