Integrated Learning Invasion Games is an alternative pathway to Stage 1 Physical Education where students explore teamwork, tactics and leadership in dynamic games such as AFL, basketball and soccer.

About the subject

Students participate in invasion games as a context for developing tactical awareness, decision-making and collaboration. Learning is personalised through inquiry, coaching connections and a negotiated personal venture.

Assessment

Assessment at Stage 1 is school based. Students demonstrate evidence of their learning through the following assessment types: 

  • Practical Inquiry – 30%
  • Coaching Connections – 20%
  • Personal Venture – 50%
