- Further study Stage 2 Photography (2VAPY)
Year 11 Photography is designed to encourage students to explore their world through the language of photography.
Students will learn to manually control a DSLR camera & other creative techniques in camera & also through editing in Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom.
Students have access to mirrorless cameras, a fully equipped studio, a print room & an extensive collection of photography books.
In Year 11 Visual Arts - Photography Part 1 the focus is on students learning technical skills so they develop a solid foundation where they can begin to take control of their ideas & learn how to best express them.
In Year 11 Visual Arts - Photography - Part 2 students build on their technical skills and further extend their editing skills. Students also broaden their understanding of many different photographic artists from a wide variety of contexts. This enables students to pursue themes of personal interest.
Assessment at Stage 1 is school based. Students demonstrate evidence of their learning through the following assessment types.
