This subject aims to provide students with an understanding of design and drafting using Computer Aided Design (CAD), and its effects on Individuals and Society including Industry.
Stage 1 Architectural Design course provides opportunities to develop design thinking, to investigate engineering solutions, to develop a plan, realise the solution and evaluate the outcome. This could be achieved using CAD program “Revit” to develop prototypes or products. Students enhance their knowledge of Revit Program by learning advance skills e.g. massing, family etc. Students will be able to design and create stairs, a Family, and a Building using Revit program.
