About the subject

Stage 1 Architectural Design course provides opportunities to develop design thinking, to investigate engineering solutions, to develop a plan, realise the solution and evaluate the outcome. This could be achieved using CAD program “Revit” to develop prototypes or products. Students enhance their knowledge of Revit Program by learning advance skills e.g. massing, family etc. Students will be able to design and create stairs, a Family, and a Building using Revit program.

The following assessment types enable students to demonstrate their learning in Stage 1 Architectural Design (Design, Technology and Engineering – Digital Communications Solutions):
