Workplace Practices


Workplace practices explores industry and work knowledge as well as vocational learning.

About the subject

Students who choose this subject need to be working or undertaking VET to successfully meet the performance-based component of the course.

Course Content

In this course, students would develop knowledge and understanding related to the structure of the workplace, the changing nature of work, industrial relations and legislation, sustainability and work health and safety as well as technical and industry-related skills and workplace issues.

Students have the opportunity to undertake learning in their current VET or workplace setting where they develop and reflect on their capabilities, interests, and aspirations and reflect on the knowledge, skills, and attributes valued in the workplace.
