About the Subject

In Research Project, students study an area of personal interest in depth. They use their creativity and initiative, while developing the research and presentation skills they will need in further study or work. The course is delivered through a combination of lectures on research knowledge and skills, one to one collaborative planning and review sessions, and an online content portal. 

Assessment

The following assessment types enable students to demonstrate their learning in Stage 2 Research Project:

External Assessment – Evaluation

The task is a written assignment. Students prepare a written summary of the research question and the Research Outcome, to a maximum of 150 words. This summary is assessed. Students must present their Evaluation in written form to a maximum of 1500 words (excluding the written summary). This Assessment is graded by the SACE Board.
