Course Details
Music Studies allows students to enhance existing musical skills in a thorough exploration of practical, investigation and theory skills.
Students nominate their preferred practical skill to engage in a range of musical experiences , through either performance and/or composition. Equally, students develop their aural, investigative, and analytical understanding of musical elements through a range of literacy tasks. This combination of study modes, students are able to develop a deeper understanding of musical form and structure.
Students demonstrate their learning through the following assessment types:

The examination focuses on aural, analysis, harmony and compositional skill demonstration.
