About this subject

This subject focuses on developing skills for creative and problem-solving strategies. Students will use a systems development approach to plan their work. They will critically evaluate the development process and the impact of the computer development industry in society.

The tasks will develop a range if IT skills in each student. They will use HTML code, Photoshop and editing applications to make websites, and Game salad to make engaging compute games. Students will develop and use a variety of research and application skills for the Currency exerc2ise. In completing the task they will also use a range of image editing software e.g. Adobe Photoshop CS6, Adobe InDesign CS6 etc. The Rhino modeling task will teach the class how to build a 3d virtual model and then print it on the 3d printer.
