The focus of this class is to make students better visual problem solvers and be challenged by a range of project based activities including logo design and branding, packaging design, poster and t-shirt design.

About the subject

Students will learn fundamental technical skills in the creative industry standard Adobe software applications Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. In addition to learning these versatile programs students will learn the basic creative functions of digital cameras, flatbed scanners, graphics tablets and digital printing.

The course will cover the design process from start to finish, so along with technical skills students will be more confident in responding to a design brief and generating creative ideas. students will produce an individual visual folio that showcases creative work and include finished design concepts and artworks.
