This course will allow students to participate in a range of individual and group activities to develop knowledge and understanding of basic health and wellbeing concepts.
Students develop skills to consider how changing social structures, community values, environmental issues, and new technologies affect the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities. They will be introduced to the physical, emotional, social, mental and spiritual dimensions of health and wellbeing and develop their health literacy skills.
This course prepares students for studying Health and Wellbeing at Stage 1.
