This Stage 1 subject is open to Year 10 students.
Stage 1 Architectural Design course provides opportunities to develop design thinking, to investigate engineering solutions, to develop a plan, realise the solution and evaluate the outcome. This could be achieved using CAD program e.g. AutoCAD and Revit to develop basic knowledge to create prototypes or products. Students demonstrate knowledge and skills associated with systems, processes and materials appropriate for the prototype and final solution. Students will be able to design Bedrooms (Revit Program), Floor Plan for a house (AutoCAD Program) and a House using Revit Program.
