Entry into C4E is selective and there are limited places available. Students will undertake a series of placements tests in:
- General abilities

- Mathematics aptitude
The entry test is $20 and will take place at Darwin High School on Saturday 16 September at 8.30am. Click here for more information on the test and to pay the test fee.
Final selection into the C4E Science program is based on test results and past academic performance as evidenced through:
- a copy of Semester 1 Year 9 report
- copies of two Year 9 Science assignments (preferably a practical or STEM report and a research-based report)
An electronic folio of the students graded Year 9 Science assignments must be submitted to [email protected] by COB Friday 15 September.
Please title the folio as follows: SURNAME, Given name - current school. For example: SMITH, Jane β Darwin Middle School.
Final selection into the C4E Mathematics program is determined by a maths test and numerical aptitude testing.
Students will be informed via email during the mid-semester break if they have been successful in gaining entry into the C4E program. If students are successful, they are guaranteed an enrolment place at Darwin High School and will need to have returned a completed enrolment form and any additional relevant paperwork. Email [email protected] for more information.
Please note the Students of High Performance: English (SOHP) program is a separate program and students wanting to be considered for C4E and SOHP will need to register for testing for both programs.
