2022 Health Expo

2022 Health Expo

On Friday 27 May Darwin High School hosted its annual Health Expo in the Tank.

Over 1200 students immersed themselves in the expo which focused on positive wellbeing and issues affecting young people such as mental health, drugs and alcohol. Students and staff engaged in activities and conversations with the exhibitors.

This year the school was also fortunate enough to host a visit from three-time Olympian and Australian rowing silver medalist, Jamie Fernandez.

The day was a great success thanks to the super engaging and passionate people that visited and provided so many great opportunities for the students. Thanks to all the staff and Ms Knutsens Year 11 Health class who got involved and helped out on the day, as well as all Darwin High Students for treating our visitors with such respect and enthusiasm.

We look forward to an even bigger and better Health Expo next year!
