Advocating for Change: Stage 2 Child Studies Students Take Action

Advocating for Change: Stage 2 Child Studies Students Take Action

Last week, students from all three Stage 2 Child Studies classes brought creativity and compassion together in an inspiring advocacy event aimed at making a difference in the lives of children in our community.

As part of their assessment, students designed and presented original promotional campaigns for charities they developed themselves—each focused on raising awareness for issues affecting children’s wellbeing and rights. From eye-catching posters to thoughtfully crafted brochures, their work showcased a deep understanding of advocacy and the power of education to inspire change.

In addition to raising awareness, students took real action by fundraising for Amber NT, a local organisation that supports young people and their families through grief and loss.

The event was a powerful display of student voice and empathy in action. We commend our Child Studies students for their creativity, passion, and commitment to making a positive impact.
