AI For Good National Finals

AI For Good National Finals

Congratulations to Darwin High School Year 10 students Pamila Jayawardhana and Jarob Cabral for representing the Northern Territory at the AI for Good National Finals in Sydney earlier this month.

The students presented their idea: H.E.A.I in the AI for Good National Finals held at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.

In AI for Good Challenge, students have learnt the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence and embarked on a design-thinking challenge to dream up a way that AI could be used to make a difference in the world.

The Darwin High team came up with the idea: H.E.A.I that is a form of humanitarian artificial intelligence designed to provide education in developing countries.

H.E.A.I was selected from more than 500 entries nationwide. Pamila and Jarob presented their idea proficiently and learnt many other innovative ideas designed by the same age groups.
