Bell Shakespeare Shorts Festival

Last Semester five Darwin High School Stage 1 Drama students entered pieces in the Bell Shakespeare Shorts Festival.

The festival was open to primary and secondary school students Australia-wide, with students invited to make short films about or inspired by Shakespeare’s works. National theatre company, Bell Shakespeare received 74 films from across Australia and Ears of Love, by Year 11 Darwin High School student Sidney Newman was one of 17 films to be shortlisted.
