Checkmate at Lunchtime!

Yesterday, Darwin High School was delighted to welcome MLA Khoda Patel for the official delivery of brand-new chess equipment, generously funded through the Northern Territory Government’s Community Benefit Fund.

A special thank you goes to our dedicated teacher and Vice President of the Northern Territory Chess Association (NTCA), Mr Driscoll, whose passion and leadership have been instrumental in growing the game of chess both at DHS and across the Territory.

Mr Patel had the opportunity to meet our enthusiastic lunchtime Chess Club and observe some friendly matches as students eagerly put the new equipment to use.
