Graduation & Awards Ceremony

- Venue: Darwin Convention Centre – Auditorium
- Dress Code: Smart Casual
- Arrival Time: Please arrive and be seated by 5:15pm for a 5:30pm start.
This event celebrates the achievements of our graduating students and includes the presentation of academic and leadership awards.
Guest Tickets:
Each student may bring up to three guests (family, friends, or partners).
To request additional tickets, please email [email protected]. Additional tickets are not guaranteed and will only be allocated subject to availability. Please note due to the size of the Class of 2025 cohort the likelihood of spare tickets is incredibly low. The ceremony will be live streamed for extended family and friends. The Darwin Convention Centre also has disabled access, please email [email protected] if you require ground floor seating.
Registration Required: All guests must register via CompassTix to assist with planning and ensure venue capacity is not exceeded. Register here via CompassTix
No physical tickets are required. The ticketing system is designed to ensure we do not exceed the maximum capacity of the venue.
- Students will sit in allocated seating with their SEL groups.
- Guests may choose their seats in the designated guest seating areas.
Awards:
Students receiving a Leadership or Academic Award will be notified via Compass two weeks prior to the event.

Year 12 Formal Dinner
The Graduation will be followed by the Year 12 Formal Dinner from 7.30pm – 11pm, also at the Darwin Convention Centre and is a Darwin High School Year 12 student event only.

Attendance Eligibility:
As outlined in the Darwin High School Attendance Policy:
- Students must have 90% or higher attendance (as of the end of Semester 1) to be eligible to attend.
- Attendance will continue to be monitored. Students who drop below 90% after purchasing a ticket may have their ticket revoked and refunded.
- Students with extenuating circumstances may submit an appeal by emailing Marcia Harvey, Year 12 Assistant Principal, with details. Appeals will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
