Combined Darwin High and Middle School Band

This week, Darwin High School band students joined the Darwin Middle School band for a rehearsal to kick off the commencement of a collaboration program for 2017.

The Darwin Middle School band is a group of Year 7 students who this year have been learning in a special band program and are thriving. In 2017, the senior students will boost the momentum of the program, through combined events.

Darwin High School teacher, Alana Bryett said that

There is something very special about senior players coming into a group, lifting the sound and momentum of the rehearsal. We are planning to further our support of the Darwin Middle School band into 2017.
