Cosi
On Monday 5 March 92 Darwin High School students went on an English excursion to Brown’s Mart to see the play Cosi.
Cosi is a heart-warming and hilarious Australian play by Louis Nowra. Set in a psychiatric facility, Cosi is a play about friendship, romance, infidelity and our perception of madness and sanity. Everyone had a fabulous time.
Thanks to Ms Schuman, Mr Whitty and Ms Farnham for helping with the excursion.
Students commented:
Isabelle – “Nice. It was really clever how they used the set”
Celenia – “I loved that all the characters were uniquely funny in their own way”
Meena – “It was funny and engaging”
Matisse – “I thought the acting was good, especially the actor who played the director”
Josiah - “Pretty neat”
Calan – “It was hilarious, especially at the start listening to Ms Schuman and Ms McCormack laugh hysterically when the students weren’t sure if it was ok to laugh at some of the shocking language and jokes. I’m glad I went”.
