Dance Showcase
The Darwin High School Dance Department entertained audiences with an evening of dance and merriment with their final dance showcase for 2018 on Friday 16 November.
The showcase featured dancers, from Darwin High and Darwin Middle School and SLIDE Youth Dance Company 1 and 2. Thank you to all the DHS families, friends and staff that support these events throughout the year. Have a safe Christmas break and make sure you take some time to boogie!
Once again the showcase received rave reviews:
Seats filled up quickly as the audience flooded through doors, excitement and anticipation filled the Tank as the dancers got ready for their performances…. Overall the night was amazing, looking at the diversity of Darwin in dance and how it brings us together as a community.

Darwin High’s talented dancers have worked tirelessly to create an evening showcasing their hard work. Featuring 23 dances performed by Darwin High, Darwin Middle and SLIDE Youth Dance Company, and many styles of dance including, hip hop, jazz, contemporary, Bollywood and ballet, there was a performance out there for everyone. Their seemingly effortless talent dazzled the audience, their eyes glued to the stage for the whole show. Everyone who helped make the magnificent evening a success should be congratulated on their hard work and dedication.
