Darwin High and Day of the Girl

Darwin High and Day of the Girl

Wednesday 11 October was the International Day of the Girl. The day aims to highlight and address the needs and challenges girls face, while promoting girls' empowerment.

This year ABC Radio Darwin featured Darwin High School's Girls only Year 10 Science class as part of its Day of the Girl coverage.

Darwin High School Teacher, Katie Gregory and students Francesca (Frankie) Gherdevich, Isabelle Henderson and Luca Rudd Sievers spoke to journalist Maree Yoelu.
