Darwin High Students Excel in KSF Mathematics Competition

This year, Darwin High School students have been actively participating in online challenges set by the Australian Maths Trust, showcasing their problem-solving skills and mathematical talents.

In March, an incredible 72 students from Years 10 to 12 competed in the KSF Mathematics Competition. Inspired by the Australian Mathematics Competition, KSF has grown into one of the largest international mathematics competitions in the world, with over 6 million participants each year.

Our students performed admirably, achieving:

  • 2 High Distinctions
  • 5 Distinctions
  • 18 Credits
  • 71 Participation Certificates

Congratulations to all the students who took part, and a special mention to those who achieved outstanding results. The breakdown of achievements across year levels is as follows:

While Darwin High School typically receives an average of 4–5 Distinctions in this competition — known to be the most challenging of the three competitions we usually enter each year — this year’s results are a strong reflection of our students’ dedication and resilience.
