Darwin High Teachers take on Busso
Congratulations to our Darwin High School Year 12 Coordinator Haydn Whitty and SIEU teacher Katie Golding on completing the largest event of its type in the Southern Hemisphere, the Busselton IRONMAN.
After months of rigorous training, last Sunday 7 May Mr Whitty and Ms Golding completed a 1.9km swim, 90.1km bike ride and a 21.1km run. Mr Whitty completed the course in 5 hours 16 minutes and 35 seconds and Ms Golding in 7 hours 6 minutes and 32 seconds.
