Darwin's Best Musician
2016 saw the Mindil Beach Markets kick off a brand new talent search – Darwin’s Best Musician. The competition encouraged music lovers, solo artists, bands and even acoustic performers to enter and battle for the title of Darwin’s Best Musician.
The finale was held earlier this month and Darwin High School student, 16 year old Jordan-Ravi Sabaratnam was the winner – congratulations Jordan! Not only did Jordan win an ongoing gig for the 2017 Mindil Market season but he was described by Hot100 presenter, Sarah, as the next Bruno Mars.
