DHS Drama visit the Doo

DHS Drama visit the Doo

By Year 11 student Eli Bacher

On Thursday 16 June, the DHS Drama Department went to Taminmin College to watch the matinee performance of We Will Rock You, a musical set 300 years in the future, where music is outlawed, and the only form of communication is via online interaction.

The musical was amazing, with the acting and choreography being very clean and polished. The cast were amazing, with the script including loads of pop culture and music related references, along with rocking music performed by an ultra-talented band. Cannot recommend this enough! Thanks to Mark Bunnett and the other three teachers who came with us. The show is running until 18th of June $15 for students, $20 for adults and $50 for a family pass (2x adults and 2x kids) at Taminmin College’s Gymnasium.
